Here are the new gluten free Haribo Balla Stixx these can be found on Amazon. They are also in the Co-op and are £1 a packet. You will find them on the freefrom shelves not with the other sweets.

I can’t remember the last time I had one of these as they always had wheat in them. So when I saw people putting them on Facebook I had to track them down, the Co-op is very far and between in the area where I live and the nearest is miles away.

So I’m hoping now that these have been launched in the UK that other supermarkets will start selling them too. I will be emailing them to request that they stock them and the more that do the likelihood that they will.

I do have a sweet tooth when it comes to kids sweets and I can eat a whole packet of Haribo in one go. These totally hit the spot, the strawberry flavour did come through and the bit in the middle had a tang to it and they are very moreish so be careful as they aren’t for sharing.

The pack did say a portion is 4 sticks and that’s 1604kj / 379 kcal so be careful because is easy to eat the full packet.

I liked them and will be getting them again I just hope that they do become available in other supermarkets otherwise I will be clocking up the miles and to and from my nearest Co-op.
